Privacy Policy — Monahzen Effective date: April 25, 2026

Operator: This app is offered by an individual (natural person), not a registered company, hereinafter “we”, “us”, or “the operator”.
Website: We do not operate a separate marketing website for Monahzen. This policy is published at the URL where you are reading this document (the “Policy Page”).
Scope This Privacy Policy describes how the Monahzen mobile application for iOS (“App”) handles information when you install and use the App on your device.
Summary Monahzen is a wellness / audio app (soundscapes, playback, and related features). Most information is stored locally on your iPhone to make the App work (for example, preferences, library data saved on-device, and onboarding answers). We do not operate our own backend servers for Monahzen as described in this version of the policy, unless we introduce cloud features later. If we do, we will update this policy and the App Store listing.
Information the App may process Depending on how you use the App, the following categories may apply:
3.1 Sign-in (optional). If you use Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in, the App may receive identifiers and profile information (such as name and email) from the authentication provider to create a local session in the App. Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies apply to their authentication services.
3.2 Profile information. If you set a display name or profile photo, this information may be stored locally on your device (including using on-device storage mechanisms).
3.3 Library and usage-related data on device. Information such as favorites, recently played items, playlists/albums you create in the App, and related playback settings may be stored locally so the App can restore your experience after restart.
3.4 Onboarding responses. Answers you provide during onboarding may be stored locally on your device.
3.5 Photos and camera. If you choose to set a profile image, the App may request access to your photo library and/or camera only to select or capture an image you choose. We do not intend to access unrelated photos or videos.
3.6 Technical and diagnostics data. Like most apps, the App processes technical information needed for playback, timers, UI state, and stability. Apple provides the iOS platform and may collect device and diagnostics information under Apple’s policies. We may use development/distribution tooling (such as Expo) subject to their applicable policies.
provide and operate App features (audio playback, personalization, saving on-device lists/settings); authenticate you if you choose to sign in; respond to support requests you send us.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users — high level) If applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (security, improving stability, support), and where required consent (for example, where iOS prompts you to allow Photos/Camera access).
Sharing with third parties We do not sell your personal information.
We use service providers inherently involved in delivering the App, including:
Apple (iOS distribution, authentication if you use Sign in with Apple, platform services); Google (authentication if you use Google sign-in); Expo / related tooling as used in the development and runtime ecosystem, subject to their policies.
International transfers If you use authentication providers, some processing may occur outside your country according to those providers’ infrastructure and policies.
Retention On-device data remains until you delete it within the App (where available), remove the App from your device, or reset device storage. Data held by Apple/Google is governed by their policies.
Your choices and rights Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. Because much of the data is local, your fastest controls are:
in-App settings (sign out / delete account flow where available); iOS settings for permissions (Photos/Camera); deleting the App. To exercise privacy requests or ask questions, contact: martinalekseev94@gmail.com.
Children The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction for consent without parental authorization). If you believe we have collected information from a child without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Security We rely on reasonable measures appropriate to an individual-developed consumer app, including platform protections provided by iOS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes We may update this Privacy Policy. The updated version will be posted on the Policy Page URL and reflected in the App Store listing as required. Continued use after updates means you acknowledge the updated policy where permitted by law.
